Lie outside your tent at night and enjoy the awe inspiring view of the Milky Way. On a clear night you’ll see planets, constellations and quite often, shooting stars. August is the best time to see the Perseids meteor showers. Book a stargazing experience with Dark Sky Wales.
Llyn Brianne, just two miles from us, is a designated Dark Sky Discovery Site, one of six strong Astro Trail in the Cambrian Mountains.

If you want to roam out further afield at night and take photos, the Brecon Beacons and Cambrian Mountains are renowned for their dark skies. The Cambrian Mountains has an Astro Trail of Dark Sky Discovery sites, beginning just 3 miles from here at Llyn Brianne. The Brecon Beacons National Park is an International Dark Skies Reserve and nearby Elan Valley is a Dark Sky Park.
